Windows 10: Unable to Import a Hyper-V VM

I built a VM using Hyper-V Manager: 10.0.26200.5001Mangement Consol 3.0Version 24H2 OS Build 26200.5001I am unable to import it onto another system with: Hyper-V Manager: 10.0.22621.1Management Console 3.0Version 23H2 OS Build 22635.3566When I navigate to the folder with the VM, it show no VMs available.Is there a way to import the VM built using the newer Hyper-V manager version into the older Hyper-V manager? If not, how do I update the Hyper-V Manager to the same version as the version of Hyper-V Manager that I built the VMs with?

Move Hyper-V VM Without Reactivating?

According to this (How do I avoid needing to activate Windows when I move a VM? [Hyper-V]) link it is possible to move a Hyper V VM to a new host without having to reactivate the guest OS by exporting
it and importing it. Are there any additional steps I should know about or is it as simple as find the export and then import (on the new host) options/buttons?

 

Moving Hyper-V to Another Disk

1. Export the virtual machines to the drive where you want to move them (tutorial).
2. When all VMs have been exported, delete them in Hyper-V Manager.
3. When Hyper-V Manager is empty, not showing any VMs, import the previously exported VMs (tutorial). In Option One Step 6 of the tutorial, you need to select Register the virtual machine in-place, or if choosing Option Two in tutorial, select Step 2.

Exporting VM with hyper-v

Exporting a Hyper-V vm keeps everything, GUID always remains the same, original. It's the importing that determines if old GUID and for instance activation will be kept or not.

If imported registering vm in-place or restoring vm, GUID is kept (green highlight in screenshot below). If importing copying vm a new GUID will be created (red highlight).
