    unable to install 2024-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based...


    Update history shows multiple attempts. When I try and install the download indicator never leaves 0%. Downloaded KB5041585 update from catalog but when I run it I get "This update is not applicable to your computer" Tried an in place re-install of windows 11 but install failed.

    Tried all suggested methods to install 2024-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5036893) but none worked - will Microsoft fix this? What's next?

    Unable to install 2024-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5036893); have tried all the suggested workarounds including manual install, all resulting in "failed to install" error. Please help!
