  1. Unable to install certificate on my machine.

Hi,I'm trying to install a certificate and Simphony software on my machine. But I'm facing an error while installing the certificate. It goes like - "Invalid Public Key Security Object File. This file is invalid for use as the following : Personal Information Exchange."I also tried to create the certificate multiple times and also made some basic changes in gpedit Policy but still the error is there. Please let me know the solution for this.Best Regards,

    :)

  2. Unable to view Certification portal

    Hi SantosiniChoudhury

Thanks for posting the thread on our forum.

According to your description, it seems that you get the error message and can’t view Certification portal.

About how to download the certificate, you can do the following steps:

    1. On the “Your dashboard” page, please click on 'Download or purchase' under “Certificates”.
    2. On the “Certificate” page, select the certificate(s) that you would like to download or purchase.
    3. Please click on the “PDF” button. An "OPEN, SAVE, SAVE AS" bar will pop-up at the bottom of the page.
Besides, we kindly advise you to follow the steps listed below and attempt to try the following troubleshooting over the day:

    1. Make sure to use an up-to-date browser. (e.g. Edge)
    2. Clear cache and cookies. Make sure you check Preserve Favorites, website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies; then click Delete.
    3. On the Delete Browsing History window, make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites, website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies; then click Delete.
    4. Allow all third-party cookies through the browser settings.
Hope the suggestions can help you.

    Regards,

    Stacey

    IKEv2 Using Wrong Machine Certificate

I have two IKEv2 VPNs setup on my Surface Pro 4, both use Machine Certificates.

There are two Machine Certificates on the device, one for each VPN.

One works absolutely fine, however, the other sends the wrong certificate and as expected gets rejected. "IKE authentication credentials are unacceptable"

The server sends a certificate request for the correct CA,

Windows sends certificate requests for its full list of trusted CAs, including the correct CA,

Windows then ignores the certificate requests and sends the wrong Certificate (i.e. the one for the other VPN).

Installing the same machine certificate onto my Android Phone, using StrongSwan I can connect fine to both VPNs.

Any ideas on how to get Windows to respect the server's certificate requests and send the right certificate?

  4. Unable to install certificate on my machine.

Install of SDK Certificates on ATT Tilt Blocked

I couldn't find the script i had created but if you have a registry editor for the tilt you can follow the following steps if not the I suggest resco registry editor which can be found at handango.com. Its not a free program but you can download the 30-day
trial and since all you need to do is modify a registry entry and unless you do a hard reset you won't have to do it again.

    • find HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies.
    [*]
    • Change the following registry items:

    • 00001001 overwrite the 2 with 1

    • 00001005 overwrite the 16 with 40

    • 00001017 overwrite the 128 with 144

    • Now, it is possible to download the certificate from the server and install
