Windows 10: Unable to install Chinese Simplified language pack

Discus and support Unable to install Chinese Simplified language pack in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Team, I am trying to install Chinese language pack and getting error.     Unable to install Chinese Simplified language pack


    Team, I am trying to install Chinese language pack and getting error. The device is domain joined and getting attached error. Need to know what happens at the background when we try to install any language pack from control panel.

    Chinese Simplified Language Pack failed to install

    Recently upgraded windows 10 pro to 1511 (10586.122) but when try to install Chinese Simplified language pack failed with message (Chinese Simplified Language Pack - Windows Technical Preview for x64-based Systems (KB3146014) [zh-CN_LP]) but I didn't install
    WIndwos Technical Preview for x64-based systems also no problem installed Chinese Traditional language pack. any idea how to fix?

    Chinese Simplified Language Pack failed to install

    both suggestion can't fix the issue. method 1 return no error; method 2 still got same error; in event system log I got below error:

    event id 20 "Installation Failure: windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80246013: Chinese Simplified Language Pack - Windows Technical Preview for x64-based Systems - (KB3146014) [zh-CN_LP].

    Also, when I installing and it shows bellows:

    Downloading Chinese Simplified Language Pack - Windows Technical Preview for x64-based Systems - (KB3146014) [zh-CN_LP] (update 1 of 1)... :failed.

    i'm not using any technical preview version so don't why show like that!

    Chinese Simplified Language Pack failed to install

    I encountered the exactly same problem as
    new-inst-e2k7     did since I reinstalled my Windows (Windows 10 pro, version 10586.122 originally, and version 10586.164 after some updates now) on Mar. 8. I failed to install Chinese Simplified language pack many times yesterday
    and today. I succeeded after rename the directory SoftwareDistribution
    under C:\Windows to SoftwareDistribution.old, just as the above method says. By the way, both the Chinese (Simplified, China) and Chinese (Simplified, Singapore) language pack options under Time & Language > Region & Language
    > Add a language > Chinese (Simplified) are not available for selecting, while those in Chinese (Traditional) are.

    Hope this will be of help with new-inst-e2k7.
