Windows 10: Unable to install icloud for windows

On my windows 11 laptop i seam to be getting the error code"0x800706D9" while trying to install Icloud Can i have any help

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: Uninstall iCloud application.


I would suggest you to Sign out from the iCloud account from the app, then uninstall the application.

1. Press Windows
   and R key together on your Keyboard.
   
2. Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
   
3. Select the iCloud application and click on Uninstall.
   

Method 2: Reinstall iCloud application.


Step 1:

I would suggest you to ‘Download
the latest version of iCloud’
from the apple website. Follow the Onscreen instructions and install the application. For more information, check the article on
Set up and use iCloud for Windows.


Step 2:

Once the installation is completed, tap on the Windows key on your keyboard, search for ICloud app. Right click on the app and click on
Pin to taskbar.

If you are using Surface PC, I would suggest you to follow steps mentioned in the Microsoft article about
Using Surface with iPhone, iCloud,
and iTunes.

Hi Jemma,

A corrupted registry key is one of the possible reasons why you are unable to install iCloud on your computer. You will need to repair the software from the Control Panel, then uninstall it. After you uninstall the software, you can then reinstall it. You can
follow the steps below:

• On the Start menu, enter Control Panel in the search box and select
  Control Panel from the results.
• Select Programs > Programs and Features, and then select the program.
• To fix the program, select Repair or, if that’s not available,
  Change.
• Follow the directions on the screen.

If the issue persists, I would suggest that you to download and run the
Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility in this
link. This tool automatically repair issues including corrupted registry keys that block you from installing or removing programs.
