    Unable to install KB5022834

Hi, I have on user using Dell Precision 7560 and he's been having this issue for 1 month without a resolution. Like below, it shows as 'Pending restart' but keep failing while booting up. When it hits 100% it rolls back like this. OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H1 I updated all drivers up to date, Windows Trouble shooter, installing the update manually but no luck. I uploaded the CBS zip file at below link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mHJ-29Rz_blWqJEhEDWp_KSUTqLrBNWE/view?usp=sharingCan someone check this and help me to resolve the issue?

    :)

  2. KB5022834 - WINDOWS 10 UPDATE NOT INSTALLING - AMD64 vs X64 system

    Hi Todd,

The 1st set of CBS logs indicated that the update was successfully installed and a reboot was pending, but the version number didn't change (winver.exe should say 19042.2604 if the update has been applied. But it didn't.). I think it may have been installed partially.

    Pls try these steps now:

    Step 1:

    • Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro of Sysnative forums) and save this to your Desktop.
    • Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
    • Save any open documents and close all open windows.
    • On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
    • Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. [See illustration image]
    • SFCFix will now process the script.
    • Upload the output file SFCFix.txt to your OneDrive.
    Step 2:

    • Download the updated fixlist.txt.
    • Place fixlist.txt in the same folder as FRST64.
    • Run FRST64 and click Fix.
    • Upload Fixlog.txt.
    Step 3:

Download the offline installer for 2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) and install it.

Upload the fresh set of CBS logs if the update errors out. But I hope it goes through fine.

Constant BSODs since installing Windows Update KB5022834

Do you have any outdated drivers, such as for devices that Windows 10 doesn't officially support? Do you have any devices that Windows 10 doesn't officially support? Have you used compatibility mode for any piece of software?

I would suggest rolling back to the restore point taken when KB5022834 was first installed. Then unplug all external devices and disable autostart for all non-Microsft apps. Then reboot.

You want to get as vanilla a system as you can with as little third party driver code running as possible. Then try installing KB5022834 again and test the PC as much as you can without plugging in any external devices and without starting any non-Microsoft apps. If it won't BSOD in that state then the issue is likely with one of the external devices or a non-Microsoft product, a process of elimination will locate the offender.

    Unable to install any OS

Hi guys, I'm unable to install any OS. I tried ubuntu and got input/output error, tried installing window 7 error 0x80000010.

Downloaded iso's of both again and again still same result. Got a new SSD still the same, tried a different usb still the same.

I'm fed up, have been trying since the past 1 month still am unable to install.
I've listed my specs in my profile.

PS Have even tried/changed my ram.
Where the pug is the problem ?

I have been using live usb to work on computer for now but I need a permanent OS.
