Windows 10: Unable to install Keyboard-Standard 101/102-key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard for HP...

I have tried over and over to install the optional driver update Keyboard-Standard 101/102-key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard for HP Hotkey Support. My work uses a vpn and requires all updates be made to my computer; however, though Windows 10 keeps stating it is available, I cannot update to get rid of the notification. Also, my update history shows it was installed but the update still appears in my driver updates list as and will not go away. How can I remove this drive update or remedy the issue of not being able to update it??

Hi guys i have been having a problem installiung this one:

I already download it and install it, but it keeps coming back to the optional updates every time I check for updates. Its coming back even though I'm done downloading it.

Thanks for the response Caper.
The original driver was the standard Microsoft PS2 keyboard driver.
The current driver is Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard with HP QLB.
The same issue persists with either driver.

I already changed the keyboard to "Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard with HP QLB"

But I still got the "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (i8042HDR.sys)" blue screen.

Any suggestions?
