Windows 10: Unable to install latest version of dealer software.........

This is just a minor issue, the newest dealer software version ( 8.3 ) downloads to any other machine easily, but this machine recognizes there is a setup file, asks me if I still want to open it even though its not a "recognized app", I click yes and nothing happens. It's got to be a recognition parameter or something that's missing yes? Any ideas where I might look? THX

SO I just realized the original software version 8.2 is not showing up in my apps, I found it upon further investigation into the programs folder, and again very strange, I try to uninstall version 8.2 and the machine asks me for permission to complete but nothing happens.

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

As you are unable to install the software for the driver in normal mode, I suggest you to install the same in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below:

• Right click on the setup file of the software and select
  “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the software install and then check thefunctionality.
