Windows 10: Unable to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable

Hello. I am unable to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable because of error "0x80070017, restart: None, ba requested restart: No" I will attach the log file. I am using Windows 7. Don't ask why, it's all I have available. Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x64 Installation Failure

I suggest you to uninstall any existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package to check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Uninstall the exiting Microsoft Visual C++.

a) Press Windows key + x key and select
Programs and Features.

b) Right click on the Microsoft Visual C++ and uninstall it.

Step 2: Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and install it.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable not installing after setup.

I have been trying to download Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable many times and for some reason it won't install. The setup runs and ends perfectly fine with no error codes or what so ever. However, Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable is
not installed on my computer. I went to check in > Control panel > Programs and features, searched up Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable, and all I see is the installers but not the application.

Hope someone knows how to fix this error. Thanks in advance.
