Windows 10: Unable to install Minecraft Launcher

Hello, I'm trying to install the minecraft on my pc but it's been stuck at the installing page for quite some time now. It comes up "Windows is updating.", :Queue 1", and "Starting installation.". I usually play on my macbook so this problem had never occurred to me. It also took me to the Microsoft Store page to which it comes up "Pending", I'm not quite sure what this is referring to.. Please help me figure out how. Thank you so much for you time. I'l;l greatly appreciate it.

Unable to install Minecraft Java and Minecraft Launcher

You can try the following steps and see whether it helps. These steps should help you perform a clean install of Minecraft.

- Uninstall the Minecraft launcher from the Settings.

- Deleted all files located at C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\([Your User Name] is the part you should replace with your user name.)

- Uninstall the Xbox App (Find it in add or remove programs setting and uninstall) and reinstall it again.

- Download the launcher and try installing Minecraft Java Edition.

 

Problem with the minecraft launcher.

There are many reasons why you can't log in to Minecraft Launcher, but all of them are due to Microsoft Store and related services. I will provide several methods to try to solve this problem, please refer to the following steps for operation:

• Clear the cache on Microsoft Store.
  

1. Press the Windows logo key + R, type wsreset.exe, and select OK.
   
2. After a few seconds a blank command prompt window will appear, which will disappear after about ten seconds and the Microsoft Store will open automatically.This means the cache was cleared successfully.
   

• Make sure you're using the Microsoft Store Install Service.
  

1. Services.msc can be found by pressing Windows Key + S and typing services.msc.
   
2. Locate and double-click the Microsoft Store Install Service; if the status is Running, right-click it and select Restart.
   
3. Change it to Automatic if it's disabled, then click Start and OK.
   

• Reinstall the Microsoft Store app
  

1. Press Windows key + X
   
   Click and Run Windows PowerShell(run as Administrator)Copy and paste the command below then hit Enter:
   
   

• Reinstall the Minecraft Launcher
  

1. Click Start >Settings >Apps，find "Minecraft Launcher" in all apps.
   
2. Click on the "Minecraft Launcher" Advanced options >Uninstall the application.
   
3. Open the Microsoft Store, search for "Minecraft Launcher", download and install it again, and log in to your account to see if it works.

I am unable to open the new minecraft launcher please help.

I understand that you are unable to open the Minecraft Launcher;

Initially I recommend that you uninstall the launcher;

Press Windows key + i and go to Apps;

Click Installed apps;

Locate Minecraft Launcher in the list and click on the three dots on the right to select Uninstall;

Then go to the Microsoft Store and download the launcher again;

Check if the launcher starts now;
