    Hello,
    i am unable to install net framework 2.0 and 3.5, error code 0x80070002, i tried installing using dism online and from installation dvd, without success.
    I tried also stop windows update service, which was listed as resolution, this didn't work either.
    Nothing what google found worked.
    Please help.

    .net framework 2.0 issue [Lexmark Productvity Studio]

    After installing the Lexmark software [Win 8 compatibility mode] I am getting the .net framework 2.0 needed message. I looked in the Turn Windows Features On and Off section of Programs and Features and the check boxes are checked with .net framework 3.5
    which supossedly includes the earlier 2.0 .net framework but I am still getting the error message to install 2.0 when it is supposedly included in the 3.5 version of .net framework. Is anyone else having this issue in their legacy software packages?

    unexpected error occurred while troubleshooting

    Upgraded to 1607 but unable to get .Net framework 3.5 windows update as it is required , when tried to install .Net 3.5 framework.

    Why windows update is required for installing .Net framework 3.5?

    Download Windows Cleanup and run it as admin. When it asks, select to clean everything. Then try again.
