Windows 10: Unable to install Rockstar Games Launcher Media Feature Pack needed on brand new laptop...

Dear all,After switching on my brand new laptop and updating Windows 10 20H2, the first thing I did was install the Rockstar Games Launcher RGL.During installation, at the stage where it's installing Visual C++, I received an error relating to the app not being able to find msvcp140.dll, and then another error relating to the app not being able to find vcruntime140.dll. When I tried to launch the RGL, the same errors occurred. I searched my PC for those .dll files and copied them to the RGL directory. The errors disappeared. However, there was a new error: 'The application was unable to star

I don't believe so. I don't remember when the latest update for the headset was released. But it did coincide ofc with the release of the Rockstar Games launcher.

Update: so now the rockstar games launcher is not reporting any crashes. I uploaded the most recent one to my onedrive. however the game continues to not load. So now I have no idea how to continue. Could you scan the log and tell me if anything looks wrong?

There were Launcher.exe_Rockstar Games Launcher Application errors in the Event Logs at least one appeared to be caused by the socialclub.dll :

There may be a just recently released version of the Rockstar Games Launcher (1.0.4.116) to fix another issue if you want to try updating.

 

Unable to install Windows Media Feature Pack correctly

As the title says, I'm unable to install the Media Feature Pack on my Windows 10 Pro N machine. I've downloaded it directly from Microsoft ( Download Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10 from Official Microsoft Download Center ) and startet it, but when I open the Control Panel
and browse to Programs->Enable/Disable Windows Features, media player features are missing entirely from the list.

Furthermore, when I open (the new) Settings->Updates and browse to see the installed updates the Feature Pack for Windows (KB3010081) is shown. However, when I click on deinstall updates I see a new update list (in the old Control Panel) und the Feature
Pack is again missing...

Do you know any way to install the Media Feature Pack properly?

FYI: It was working fine before the big november update.

Edit: Apparently Windows 10 November Edition needs a different Media Feature Pack than the normal Windows 10.
