Windows 10: Unable to Install WWAN Drivers

Hi!


OS: Windows 10

Model: Latitude E6230

WWAN Card: Dell Wireless 5630 (DW5630) Mini-PCI Express Mobile Broadband WWAN Card


I recently purchased a WWAN card for my old Dell Latitude e6230 running Windows 10 64bit and I am unable to install the required drivers for the WWAN card to work. I was able to install the Dell Wireless 5630 WWAN Mobile Broadband Driver however it still isn't working. When I open the device manager, it shows this:




No card is detected in the Dell Mobile Broadband Manager.


Would appreciate any help!

Since your Internal GPS on WWAN card is not working, I suggest that you try these troubleshooting steps:

• Update the driver on device manager
• Uninstall / Reinstall the device driver

If none of the steps above worked, you have to contact the device manufacturer for further assistance. You can contact them through this

link. Kindly note that you have to change the appropriate country located at the bottom right part of the page.

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

As you are unable to install the software for the driver in normal mode, I suggest you to install the same in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below:

• Right click on the setup file of the software and select
  “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the software install and then check thefunctionality.

I cant get drivers to install

Read my guide, goes step buy step for nvidia driver install. Though I use a different driver cause I got 8 series, same method of installation
