Windows 10: Unable to launch Microsoft Store after 2004 update.

Hi, I can't open anything Microsoft-related after updating windows to 2004 version, that includes Microsoft Store, Insider App, and other apps (They open a window for split second and close immediately, and when I spam the Microsoft Store icon on the taskbar the icon suddenly vanishes from the taskbar).

I pulled lot of strings such as running commands and other stuff (This is brand new pc and I don't run any software such as ShutUp10). Also I can't copy files onto other devices without transfer being interrupted, unlike in previous windows version (1909).

I have bootable usb stick, but I don't want to set up my pc again with all those drivers. What should I do?

I understand how it could be when the applications doesn’t work as they are supposed to. We will look into this. However, please reply to the following questions to help you in a better way:

• Are you getting any error message?
  
• Since when are you facing this issue?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made on the computer recently?
  

In the meantime, I suggest you to follow the steps from the article
Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store to fix the issues with the Microsoft apps that are not launching. Also, follow the steps from the article

Microsoft Store doesn't launch to fix the issues you are facing in launching Store.

Microsoft Store won't launch

Hi,

After upgrading to 2004, Microsoft Store will no longer launch.

It will just briefly open then close.

I already tried all options found in the internet when searching for the keyword "Microsoft Store wont start", "Microsoft store not working" to no avail.

Below are a few that was done but did not fix the issue after trying to launch Microsoft Store:

1. Create a new local Admin account
2. Logged in with Domain admin account
3. Reset Microsoft store
4. Checked Date and Time
5. no Proxy
6. Powershell to reinstall MS Store
7. Sfc /scannow
8. disable non Windows services during boot up
9. Edit Registry for MS Store

Any other idea?

Microsoft Store not launching

I have been trying to launch my Microsoft Store but it isn't working. I tried updating it and following otger suggesting by Microsoft community but it's still not launching. Any other suggestions could do me a world of good. Thank you
