Windows 10: Unable to launch Windows PowerShell

Whenever I try to launch Windows PowerShell, either via the dedicated Windows PowerShell app or as an option via the Terminal, I get the following error.The shell cannot be started. A failure occurred during initialization: The type initializer for 'System.Management.Automation.LanguagePrimitives' threw an exception. [process exited with code 4294901760 0xffff0000] Nothing that I have tried has worked:Restarting PCInstalling PowerShell 7Turning off and on the PowerShell optional featureMy Windows Version is Windows 11 Version 21H2 OS Build 22000. 1335 and yes I have tried to update Win

PowerShell does not launch bash.exe

I
am new and trying to learn.

My
issue: When I enter bash.exe in a PowerShell cmd window, my PC does not launch the Ubuntu command. I think Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) is not in my $ENVath.

Troubleshooting
I have done:

1. Reading
   on the Internet, I can test my $ENVath by typing the following a PowerShell cmd:
   

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>
where.exe calc

C:\Windows\System32\calc.exe

It returned the follow:

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>
calc

(And the calculator displayed
on my PC)

1. Reading
   on the Internet, I can also test my $ENVath by typing the following a PowerShell cmd:
   

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>
where.exe wsl

It returned the follow:

INFO: Could not find
files for the given pattern(s).

Here

Unable to Launch Games such as Gears 4

Step 1: Delete Temporary files. This will help delete temporary files that have been stored on your computer.

• Click Start and click Settings.
• Select System.
• Select Storage.
• Select This PC.
• Click Temporary files.
• Choose Temporary files.
• Click Remove files.

Step 2: Re-register the Store App and check.

• Right click on Start button on the desktop and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Here, User Account Control window pops up and click on Yes to open Command Prompt with administrator privileges.
• Type the below command in the Command Prompt: powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

Unable to download apps from Windows Store

If you are not able to use the store:

We would suggest you to try the steps from the link

Settings doesnt launch or launches the store


or

Try this workaround

• Open an Elevated Powershell prompt by pressing the Windows Key, typing Powershell, then pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter
• Paste the following command into Powershell and execute it:
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
