Windows 10: Unable to link Nintendo Switch and Windows 10 PC to allow cross platform Minecraft play.

Tried so many times to link my son's Nintendo Switch to my Windows 10 laptop so we can both play Minecraft but am constantly unable to,

I think it went wrong when I initially created the Microsoft profiles from the same device my laptop, so basically, we have never been able to play it,

Please can anyone help?

Q: Now that I have a Microsoft account, how do I sign into it from my Nintendo Switch?

a. On the Minecraft game home screen, click “Sign in with a Microsoft account”

b. It’ll bring up a screen to go to:
http://aka.ms/remoteconnect with a unique 8 digit code

c. Enter the URL on another device (PC or Mobile phone)

d. Follow the instructions on the website by entering the code and complete signing into your Microsoft account.

Q: How do I find my friends on their Microsoft account?

a. Now that you’ve signed into your Microsoft account, Click “Play” on the homescreen

b. Toggle to the right onto the “Friends” tab

c. Click the button to “Add Friend”

d. Find friends by entering their Microsoft Gamertag

Q: I keep entering my friend’s ID into Cross-Platform friends and can’t find them. Why?

Make sure you are entering your friend’s Gamertag correctly. Please note that you are only able to enter in a player ID for Microsoft’s Gamertag. Other player IDs from other platforms are not supported at this time.

Because you registered your account on Minecraft Microsoft edition, you are able to play on Microsoft server only, that is, Xbox account.

The problem is that Nintendo server is different from Microsoft’s so Nintendo has a separate client or server. If you want to play Minecraft on Nintendo Switch, you have to register an account on their platform. Go to the Nintendo official website to do it.

Then, use this account to log in to Minecraft on your Nintendo Switch.

Minecraft saying unable to connect to world? Multiplayer Cross-platform Windows 10 to Xbox

This is a multiplayer problem in which I am unable to connect to an Xbox world from different platforms. I have Minecraft Bedrock for Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, Moblie, and Xbox One. Everything works fine on the Xbox One Edition but it is the others
I have started having problems with. In the past, Nintendo Switch and Moblie used to work with cross-platform, but since I got Windows 10 Edition, everything went downhill. For starters, when I open Windows 10 Edition, I immediately get a notification saying
I have a multiplayer restricted skin even though I'm using Steve. Next, I navigate to the friend tab and I try to join a cross-platform world. It says locating server then it tells me unable to connect to world. I try to join from an invite, and the same thing
happens. Then, I restart Minecraft and open it from the windows search tab, no difference. If I restart my computer, nothing changes. Restarting my wifi doesn't work either. After trying all this, I switch to mobile. I don't get any skin notification but it
still doesn't work. When I try Nintendo Switch, I get a notification that my skin is cross-platform restricted even though it is Steve, and I still can't join. It is also worth mentioning that I don't get any invites unless I'm on Windows 10 or Xbox. I ask
the community to please help me as it is really frustrating to have this issue.
