Windows 10: Unable to lock students out of their computers at midnight

Hi Experts. I'm the IT Coordinator at a small private school. Here's the problem I'm facing:Students are staying on their Surfaces at home past midnight gaming or whatever. We would like to disconnect them at midnight and lock the account till morning.I know I can do this in Active Directory, but unfortunately the logon hours attribute doesn’t get cached onto their machines and since they aren’t connected to our network at night it doesn’t enforce. Any ideas in Windows Server or other software would be helpful.Thanks.

computer keeps locking up...

him your computer locks up.... check what your running and see if it affects it cause this shouldn't happen it could be your ram or your mouse but i'm just giving a suggestion

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.

  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.

  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.

  Close the Personalization window.

Unable to boot the computer.

  What is the make and model of your computer?
  

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.
