    Unable to log in on previous computer after setting up new computer


    I'm setting up a new PC from my previous one. After transferring most of my folders and files over to the new PC and setting up a Pin which I never had on the previous PC, that PC is now asking me for a Pin which I never had before. I'm completely locked out now I can't get back into that one. Help.

    Hi Ian,

    Thanks for the suggestion, though I am unable to preform the clean boot as I need to be logged into the computer to preform it. I am still unable to log in.

    Also, I think its better to learn about computer parts and everything, and then pick out your own stuff. Then, not only do you know for sure that you have the best deal you can get for the moneys, but you have the unalienable right to knowledge.


    Edit: Negate all my previous posts till I fix em.

    I understand your concern and frustration you have been through. I will be glad to assist you.

    Please answer these questions to assist you better.

    1. Is this the only account in your computer?

    2. Have you tried entering the password set by your wife?

    I would like to inform you that unless and until Microsoft account is created in your computer it won’t show up or prompt for log in password at the time of sign in. However I would suggest you to try the password that was set earlier and check or if you have
    other account in your computer you can try to log in.
