Windows 10: Unable to log in to Windows

Ok, so, I'm unable to log in to my Acer Aspire that was originally running Windows 7 but was updated to Windows 10 in approx 2016.Now, after clicking the "sign in" icon under my name, I'm sent to a "Microsoft Account" screen which says "You'll need Internet for this" "it doesn't look like you're connected to the Internet. Check your connection and try again".Now I'm sure the WLAN adapter in my laptop is faulty, but shouldn't I be able to log in offline anyway? I've tried to force this by disabling the network boot in the Setup Utility F2 but that doesn't even allow me to get that far.I also

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

As a workaround, I suggest you to remove all the external devices being connected (except mouse and keyboard), try hard reboot the device and check the status of this issue.
