    Unable to log into computer with the correct password and every option to fix it requires...


    HiPardon if I am very snappish, I am extremely frustrated. Basically I opened my Windows 10 HP Pavillion laptop one evening and it refused to recognise my password. I have tried every variation of the password but none of it is working. I then went to search up solutions but for whatever reason, every single solution is useless. I cannot access Safe Mode because it needs the "incorrect" password. I cannot reset my laptop, because it needs the password. I cannot even wipe my computer and risk losing every single important file I have because it needs the password. I can't connect to networks in

    Log in requires password

    Since a recent update the PC now requires a password to log in.

    I have tried Windows Key - netplwiz and unchecked "users must use password...."

    There are no other users shown in the listing.

    I use my Windows account as my log in which is also the administrator account.

    Also on restart the lock screen shows - pretty picture and no taskbar. I have to press spacebar to release that and then it shows my account and requires a password input.

    Getting rid of password log-in on Windows 10

    I have tried all the above but still I am prompted to enter password when I switch on my computer. Please advise how to get rid of login password when switching on the computer.

    Windows 10 will not accept the correct password to log in

    hi,

    I cannot log into my windows 10 computer even after entering the correct password. i never used a microsoft account for the password since i upgraded from windows 8 so that isnt an option. Ive tried booting the computer using troubleshooting options but
    they all require the password which the computer will not accept as correct. i cannot even wipe the computer as it requires a password to do so and i do not have a windows 10 disk, only windows 8.1 due to me upgrading when windows 10 first released.
