Windows 10: Unable to log into User account

I got a new laptop and set it up with my account I use for everything2 pcs, 1 other laptopI realised after setting it up that I'd prefer to use a different setup as this new laptop is for school, so I added a user profile so I could do what was neededIssue: When I go to sign into the secondary user, whether it's via emailed code or passwordwhich i had to change since it wasn't working initially? It loads then goes back to the user log in screen does not log inI can log into my main account but not my secondary userI've deleted the secondary user and readded it to no avail

Cannot log in with another user account

I am having the same issue as here. I have reset a laptop with Windows Home 10 v1909 and cannot get it to log in with another user account. I am able to add a Work Microsoft account but I am unable to log in with it. I have to log in with my hotmail account. I have tried the fast switching bat file that was suggested and still the same issue.

I don’t know if this addition to my original thread will push it to the top of the queue. I have tried again by pasting netplwiz into the Run box as suggested by marshian. Yesterday I managed to create another User Account which although described as an Administrator Account indicates ‘This app can’t open’ for every single item. Can anybody please suggest how I can change this situation? Today I did the same thing again but find that I CAN open the various programs on that Account – although the Account is listed under a Users Group not Administrators Users.
There is also a Guest Account listed but as yet I haven’t been able to get into that since it does not appear for the next Log On when I click my Log Off or Switch Users shortcuts.
