Windows 10: Unable to login and pop up with Microsoft account login error code 00000000 keeps looping,...

I set up my child's account on my laptop Windows 10 Home with an @outlook.com for him and created a user profile with a pin code for login. When he logs in now, the system prompts him to sign in to his Microsoft account but whenever he tries to sign in, a pop-up with the error code: 00000000 8 zeros keeps coming up and tells him to "To fix this, sign in to account.live.com from a browser" but when we try to open a browser the SAME POP-UP keeps coming up, preventing him from even USING the browser. We've tried using Chrome and Edge, same issue.

How to login to root account in LMDE ?

I don't know about debian edition, but in Gnome Edition I can just login as root with my administrator account password at the login screen - but keep in mind that Gnome Edition is based on Ubuntu and Debian Edition is based on Debian and the only common thing between Ubuntu and Debian is the barest necessities in the Linux kernel.
