Windows 10: Unable to login to my latpop

Hello, hope you are well.Ive bought a laptop off someone on ebay 2years ago. i was able to use it perfectly, fine but then it started to have millisecond long black screens, once in awhile, i took it outside to sit in the sun, but then screen went fully black, but was able to see if i flashed a light onto it. i was worried it broke or something, therefore, i navigated to reset, and reset the whole lapop, but now when i try to set up my account it says "rivus" a companies name and tells me to enter a "school or work email, not a personal one" is this laptop stolen? how can i fix it.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Windows 10 Login Crash Loop

• Which screen are you referring to?
• Are you able to login to Desktop?
• Are you able to see the login screen?

The power icon referred in the steps is present at the login screen. If you are able to see the login screen where you enter the password to go to Desktop, then you need to follow those steps. These steps to be followed if you are able to reach to
login screen but unable to go to Desktop.

Local user disappeared frin login options after upgrade

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix the issue. Here are my steps:

• I've uninstalled the last 3 updates (the ones from september):
  
  • however, they keep getting reinstalled:
    

• I've added two new users: one from the GUI, the other as you suggested in step 2:
  
  • They are listed under users;
    
• I've also booted in safe mode just to check.
  

I still have no way to login other than with the main account. No local users are available at login or when I go to start menu and click on my user.

Please advise
