Windows 10: Unable to login to Windows 11 laptop without wifi

Hello,I forgot my password as I have always used my fingerprint sensor to log in. My laptop insists I use my PIN. Since I do not know it I press “I forgot my PIN”. Unfortunately I need to connect to an internet network in order to change the PIN. When I try to connect to a Wi-Fi network, I am told to enter my Widows security details. I do not remember ever making an account for this, so I cannot log into it. If some one can please help me soon it would be greatly appreciated. I have to submit my assignment!!Thanks.

Unable to see a specific WiFi Network in list

I have Windows 8.1. I can see the WiFi networks of everyone in the vicinity. However, am unable to see the WiFi network installed in my home.

The WiFi Network that am unable to see is a new connection. This new connection is seen by all devices (Mobiles etc) but it is.not getting displayed in my Windows 8.1 list.

I have seen other threads on the issue which recommend checking WLAN Autoconfig etc. And have tried those steps too. But there is no change in the outcome.

Can anyone please suggest any solution that migjt work. I am not willing to format my Laptop.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Unplug all external devices connected to the system and restart the computer and check if that helps.

If you are not able to login to using the Microsoft account then ensure that you are typing the password correctly. Make sure that Caps Lock is turned off, and that your email address is spelled correctly, and then try again.



I suggest you to login to safe mode and check,

To enter into Safe Mode in Windows 10, follow the steps given below.

• Restart your PC.
• Press Shift + F8 before the Windows logo appears.
• Click See Advanced Repair Options.
• Click Troubleshoot.
• Click Advanced Options.
• Click Windows Startup Settings.
• Click Restart.

You then see a list where you can choose Safe Mode

HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.
