Windows 10: Unable to login with my admin account

I had an outlook.com id adminthrough which i used to login to Windows 10. While in Windows 10, i created one more user for a guest account. Everything was fine until yesterday and now i am unable to login to my computer using my Admin ID . The computer shows 2 ID's on log on screen - "Guest " and "Other User". When i try putting my userid and password in "Other User" the system doesnt recognize me, even though my userid and password are correct. I can still login to the "Guest " account but it doesnt has any admin access hence unable to add my outlook.com account.

Is there any way to login back to my computer using administrative access?

Unable to login into admin account

I am unable to login into admin account using the current credentials, but i am able to login into the server using user credentials that i created. Can any on help me in debugging the issue.

1. Are you using a Microsoft account or a local account?
   
2. Which version of Windows 10 you are using currently?
   
3. Is the other user account an admin account?
   

I suggest you to try using the on screen keyboard at the login page and check if you are able to login to the PC.

1. At the login screen click on the
   ease of access icon at the bottom right hand corner.
   
2. Click on the on screen keyboard to open it.
   
3. Type the password and try to login.
   

If you are using a Microsoft account, I suggest you to refer the article on

how to reset your Microsoft account password.



However, if you are using a local account, then I suggest you to refer the article on

reset your Windows 10 local account password.



Note: While performing these steps, there might be a risk of data loss. You may take a backup of the data before performing the steps.

unable to login as admin

When you first loaded Windows, you were prompted for an account name & password. This account was automatically created with admin privileges. Did you demote it? When?
