Unable to map to a network device's drive

Hi, Just purchased a new laptop running Win11 Home. Unable to access an Unraid File server that is on my network. I am able to access it perfectly from my 2 other windows laptops and was able to access it perfectly from the laptop that this new one replaced. When I attempt to Map a drive letter as I have done on all laptops previously I just get a message "The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: An extended error has occurred." I have tried to replicate all of the settings that are on my other 2 laptops but still no success. Can anyon

    :)

  2. Unable To Map Network Drive

I have two Windows 10 machines named Studio and Digital on an Ethernet network. I had Windows reinstalled on the Digital machine. From the Digital machine I can map a network drive on the Studio machine. From the Studio machine I am unable to map to the hard drive on the Digital machine. I am pretty sure I have everything setup correctly on the Digital machine including the computer name, account name, password etc.
When I select the Digital machine and drive the "Enter Network Password" box appears and it says my network password is not correct.
    Please see the attached screenshot.
Can someone please give me ideas as to what the problem may be? Thanks very much Bill

Unable to delete old mapped drive

I have an old orphaned mapped drive I can't get rid of in Explorer/Network. I had mapped a drive to a USB drive plugged into a Netgear Router. The router fried and I replaced it and the mapped drive is now orphaned.

In addition to that the tem is listed in the network twice. The second entry is the problem. The first entry is fine and file sharing works. If I "disconnect" I get an error:
Unable to map to a network device's drive 363072d1648329678t-unable-delete-old-mapped-drive-usb3.jpg
If I use "net use" and delete by drive letter it fails, but if I delete by name it indicated it's successful but it's not.

I've delete the registry entries in MountPoints and MountPoints2 but no joy. Anybody got any idea?

Unable to disconnect from mapped network drive

I receive the following error when I try to disconnect from a self mapped network drive: "network connection does not exist"

The network drive icon appears with a bid red x and says it is disconnected, yet I can double click on it to enter the mapped folder. Doing this does not reconnect the folder, and remains disconnected. This causes problems because programs that pointed
to this path are unable to read the files. I am unable to remap this drive because the associated drive letter (EUnable to map to a network device's drive :) and mapping no longer shows up in the list.

I've tried all the typical suggestions including:

--I tried to do it via the command prompt with the net use delete command, but it can't be found in there.

--Tried to above with the actual network path instead of the drive letter, did not work

--Tried to delete the registry entries from:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2

    HKEY_USERS\. Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Mountpoint2\

None of these solutions worked. Though deleting the registry entries momentarily hid the disconnected drive, the drive letter was still not available for mapping. I tried to force the drive letter (EUnable to map to a network device's drive :) to map to my optical drive, which worryingly, pointed
back to the mapped network location on the NAS instead of to the optical drive.

How do I get rid of this? Reformatting the computer is not an option.
