Windows 10: Unable to modify start-up program - ERROR 0x00x80070057

Hey!Just recently got a new PC with windows 11. There's a program I use called ExitLag that is having trouble being added to Start-up on Windows.I want to have this program automatically launched on system boot.I contact them and they mentioned the issue is with my windows, so here I am.I am receiving Cannot save the task: ERROR 0x00x80070057 upon trying to add a program to Start-up.I do not have this issue with other programs that I am aware of I have multiple programs that load on Start-up such as Spotify/Steam etc without an issue.Things I have tried:I have tried manually adding the program

Windows 10 Start Menu Programs Incorrect Location

As you are unable to open the program from Start screen. I would suggest you to right click on it and click on
Unpin from Start. Browse to the file location, right click on it and select Pin to Start to set it properly.



To change the Start settings, follow these steps:

• Click on Search and type “Start settings” without quotes.
• Click on the Start settings (System settings).
• It will open the Personalization window with Start settings.
• From here you can make the necessary changes.

Unable to Pin Certain Programs to Start Menu

Thanks for your replies guys. I am now able to file the FileTypesMan when I do a search in the Start Menu, however, the app is not displayed in the Start Menu alphabetical list. Why is that?

 

Unable to boot; 0xc000000f error on start

@axe0 - No, there was no file mentioned, although the error code remained the same. After I used the bootsec.exe /nt60 command the File: boot/bcd line appeared, which can be seen in the photos.
@zbook - I'll try what you have suggested and post the results. As for the assigned drive letters, no I don't know why they already have assigned letters. As far as I can recall, those were in fact the drive letters they were assigned when the computer was working, but I didn't reassign them during the troubleshooting process. The steps I had already taken are listed in the original post. I had tried to rebuild the BCD previously, but with the same results (i.e. didn't have access, system not found etc.)
