    Unable to My Dell laptop after the recent feature update 1903


    I've got some issue with the battery charging after the latest update 1903. While starting the machine for the first time after the update, it has gone to BIOS setup and showed me a warning like I've been using a 35W charger instead of a 45W one though I'm using the same 45W charger itself which I got along with my laptop that I've been using from the past few years. After the BIOS warning, I've continued with the boot up process and since then I've observed that the battery is not being charged though it is showing that it is connected to a power source and the battery percentage remains same as long as I keep charging it. Please help me with this issue.

    Windows Feature Update 1903

    Hi Sara209

    Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. The steps which you have undertaken to block updates won't work for any feature update. Feature updates need to be blocked temporarily by using different steps.

    But, I will suggest that you should not try to stop 1903 feature update. Let it happen.

    Can Not Install Update 1903 on Laptop


    I have two laptops with Windows 10. One is Home and the other is Professional. I manually found the 1903 update on the latter using Windows Update and Security and installed it yesterday. I tried the Home laptop and I cannot manually detect it. Its last feature update is 1803. Any suggestions other than wait? Thanks.

    unable to install Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903

    I am unable to successfully install the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903. I received this error message:Failed to install on ‎7/‎30/‎2019 - 0xc1900101.

    I then did some research, and disconnected peripherals, updated my drivers, ran the update troubleshooter, did scandisk with the /f option, and tried to update using the media creation tool, but was unsuccessful again, actually 3 other times.

    Please let me know if you have any other suggestions or if there are some more detailed error messages that I can provide to you from the event logs.
