Windows 10: Unable To Network Share two HP laptops

I have come for some assistance with an issue that I am getting stumped on.I have optimum internet 400mb speed and I have two laptops1 Hp Omen 17.3" gaming laptop 2 Hp NotebookBoth of them are connected on the same WIFI NetworkI have turned on network and file sharing on both systems.I also have Norton 360 as an antivirus software program.I have gone into my Norton 360 software and trusted my HP notebook via Mac Address, - now My Hp Notebook can see my HP omen laptop however it is asking for network credentials and I've entered everything and nothing is working.My issue is when I'm on my HP

1. Could you please let us know the complete model of HP laptop that you using?
   
2. Which build of Windows 10 are you currently on? You can refer to Which Windows operating system
   am I running?
   

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to refer
HP PCs - Sharing Your Screen Using Miracast (Windows 10) and try the steps mentioned in the article and check if it resolve the issue.

HP PageWide 377dw not scanning to network share. Share is accessible from laptop

A client of mine can't scan from his HP PageWide 377dw to a network share on a Windows 10 machine anymore. The issue started after my client did a Windows recovery.

I have spend hours trying to figure out the problem, but I can't find it.

The PC is a windows 10 PC named 'COSN0101237'. It's wired. IP 192.168.1.5. No domain, default workgroup called 'WORKGROUP'. The share is called 'Scans' and has full access for 'Everyone'. Access is set on both the share and NTFS.

The printer is a HP PageWide 377dw. Also wired. IP 192.168.1.3.

Starting from step 6, I added a share called 'Scans' pointing to '\\COSN0101237\Scans'. No credentials. Clicking 'Save and test' always give me figure 12: failed network folder setup page. Of course, it doesn't work on the printer itself either.

To verify the share, I wired my laptop to his hub. I can go to '\\COSN0101237\Scans' without entering any credentials. I can read files and create new files in this share. This would indicate there's no problem with the share, right?

Other things I tried:

• access the share by IP instead of name
  
• create a user 'PageWide' on the Windows 10 PC and used that user for credentials (see figure 8)
  
• disabled firewall
  

What else can I try? Really would like to help out this client! Like a said, it was working correctly before the client did a Windows recovery.

Any ideas?

 

Unable to share files in my LAN

Hi all, I have two Windows 10 PC's in my home LAN (connected to same wired router). I would like to be able to transfer files between them. I have followed all steps in this guide and verified all requirements comply with it. When I open Windows Explorer and then click on Network in one PC I see the other PC listed, but when I double click on the PC I don't see any shared folder listed,not even the Public folder, instead I see the following error, any hint? Thanks
