    This only happens with this one particular PDF. Other PDFs have no issue. I have tried multiple readers on multiple machines and this file exhibits the same behaviors. Windows 10, v2004.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi MrIvanWood, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a Microsoft Community expert and fellow user.

    Just a couple questions to help me understand your issue:

    Are you receiving any error message when trying to open the PDF attachment?

    Which app are you using to access your Hotmail emails? Outlook? Windows Mail app?

    See if you can access the PDF attachment using Outlook Web Access. Here's a link to start using it:

    Cant open email attachments

    Hi Jeff,



    The error message is "Messaging : Unable to display the attachment"



    I tried to open the attachment in fie explorer as you suggested. It will not open. But it does show attachments in \windows\messaging folder but it doesnt show the correct bytes, for example a PDF im trying to open is 176kb but in the messaging folder
    above it only shows like 4kb.



    It happens to all types, PDF, excel,word and JPG.
