Windows 10: Unable to open a G Drive mobile USB

I recently bought a DELL Inspiron laptop uses Microsoft, having used Apple for years. I have a G DRIVE G Technology mobile USB, when I plugged it into my old laptop, a window appeared allowing me to open it. I've plugged it into my DELL laptop and nothing happens, I can find it in Devices but I can't open it. I save all my photos onto this drive and need to save some more. Please tell me how to open it. Thank you.

• What is the specific model number of Asus laptop and G Drive mobile?
• When you say 'it's not working ' does that mean device is not getting recognized?

Suggest you to try connecting to a different USB slot and check if the device get recognized.

Likely cause is an outdated
driver for one of your hardware

components. Please try below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in search box and open it.
• Click on Hardware and Sound
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
  
• Follow the instruction.
