Windows 10: Unable to open a specific notification in notification

I'm letting BOINC use my computer during its downtime for Covid research, etc. Occasionally I receive a notification from them in the same notifications area where the results of my virus scans are announced--the thing-a-bop my technical term that opens when I click on the square dialog balloon to the right of the date and time in the movable menu bar. When I click on the notification from Boinc, the Boinc box closes and nothing else happens. I never see the text Boinc has sent me, although I have in the past. What should I be doing differently?


Sidebar: I selected Desktop, start and personalization under Windows topics since it seemed the closest to my scenario. Hope that was right.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Real time notifications

May have already been posted before so apologies if that's the case.

But it would be kinda neat if you could get real time notifications/push notifications from TPU for instance when on a different tab you see a (1) notification on the TPU tab to tell you, you have a message, notification etc and likewise on the mobile app push notifications for messages and replies to subbed threads would be cool without having to open the app and reload.

Sorry, that turning off Network Notifications should be there, unless your vendor disabled the advance features.


Should be like this:
Android - Turn off network notification




Android will automatically display a notification when an open Wi-Fi network is available.
To turn off this feature:

• Go to Settings > WiFi.
• Tap on the Menu key > Advanced.
• Uncheck "Network notifications"

What make and model is the phone; and, who is the carrier.
