Windows 10: Unable to open files in File Explorer on camera connected via USB

When I had Windows 8.1, all I had to do to look at a picture to verify if it was good enough for downloading from my USB connected camera point & shoot was to open it in File Explorer by double clicking it, and it would open whatever Microsoft photos app that was a default on the computer. Now with Windows 11, the files will not open at all no matter how many times I click "Open" or double click it. I do not understand this; image files already saved to the computer will open with no problems.

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

  On top of the Task Manager click on File and click on
  Run new task.
  
• Type explorer.exe inside the box and hit Enter.

unable to open usb drive files in word excel

i am unable to open ms word/excel/html files on usb drive i am using ms office 2010

and when i try to copy it gives me error

i couldnt open html file in new edge browser but it open fine in chrome

however i can open pdf files on usb drive

one more i thing i just remember now i have samsung j3 smart phone and i uses samsung Smart Switch application which connects to my mobile via usb cable and backsup data, it no longer detects mys samsung mobile when i connect usb cable to it and windows explorer also no longer shows my samsung mobile connected to my computer

however i am able to print to hp deskjet printer through usb cable
