    When attempting pen any MS Office file from any of her mapped drives the office application will open then immediately close. If any files are open within the same application those files would also close. If the user goes into the folder via shortcut or the file location the files open without an issue. I am also able to open txt and pdf files on the mapped drives without an issue. Has anyone come across this issue previously? Is there an option that needs to be checked?

    Windows 10 Office 365 cannot open files from: recent file list

    Thanks for the tip! I followed all above steps.

    So far I can open files from the Recent files list when I enter Word itself, however I still am unable to open any documents using the Word icon pinned to the taskbar:

    one more i thing i just remember now i have samsung j3 smart phone and i uses samsung Smart Switch application which connects to my mobile via usb cable and backsup data, it no longer detects mys samsung mobile when i connect usb cable to it and windows explorer also no longer shows my samsung mobile connected to my computer

    however i am able to print to hp deskjet printer through usb cable
