Windows 10: Unable to Open Minecraft due to error message -2015294512

Basic Info :-Can install Minecraft launcher but cant open it but for some reason I can't open it from the start menu I have to go into Microsoft store and click Play.-Using Windows 10 but I think I have an important file missing : ' WindowsApps ' I have tried to reinstall it using a command in PowerShell admin but it won't install it runs the command but the file doesn't show-Have just reinstalled Windows yesterday due to this issue to try and get Windowsapps back but didn't installed itI believe I know what is wrong, but I don't know how to fix it, a few months ago I had to factory reset

Is this issue with all the games or just forza?

If it is just forza please reinstall the game and check.

Unable to open Minecraft

• Are you using Minecraft app downloaded from Store or Minecraft program?
• Do you receive any error?

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft and check if that fixes the issue.

Also try to download and install the display and chipset drivers from the manufacturer website.

File System Error -2015294512

Hello!

My friend is trying to install the Minecraft Launcher. He’s used both the download from the Microsoft Store & the download from Mojang. It can install but when he runs the Minecraft launcher to install Minecraft, it fails and spits out error File System Error -2015294512

I can’t find any specific articles about this error.

Tested:

- Using chkdsk

- Using sfc

- He has enough storage

- Updating Windows

Resolved:

Uninstalling, logging out of MS Store, logging back in, installing the installer worked.
