    I am a software engineer. I have been having a problem for about a year off and on where windows just freezes up for no obvious reason at all. The only thing that seems to keep the system from freezing up is if I have a game running on the system. My assumption is this is somehow related to changing the power settings to keep it running. I am unsure.If there is no game running then the system will hard lock anywhere from 3 seconds to a few hours from booting up. As time has gone on that window has gotten smaller and smaller and currently it won't run for more than about 5 minutes if I'm l

    I should have expanded the windows so you could see it better...sorry about that. The Disk column stands out obviously. The 4 screenshots are during a slow period, sorted as you asked; while trying to open Chrome and "my computer files"

    I have also been getting a message at start up. "Unable to connect to windows service" or "unable to connect to Kaspersky portal" just fyi... Hope that helps..Thanks!!

    Thanks for the suggestion, when I try to login, I am left with a blank screen and unable to open the page.

    Unable to open a Folder

    Thanks I have run the Zip file and have attached the output, the Hard drive looks OK to me. The folder still cant be opened or deleted. I can move the file within the C Directory but cant move it to a USB stick.
