Windows 10: Unable to open pdfs while previewing print copy in turbotax

Turbotax is not allowing me to preview print copy and open adobe automatically receiving error. "Hmmm, the PDF Preview didn't work. We're not sure why. We recommend you save the PDF on your computer by selecting save as PDF. You can always open it and view it later." Adobe is up to date and using windows 11. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program using cd copies don't have the digital copies. I can see the pdf in adobe only by opening the file. Turbotax support believes the issue is with windows 11 settings or adobe. Any suggestions?

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the printer & PC?
  
• Does this issue specific to a particular PDF file or all PDF file in the USB?
  
• What is the program that you are using to open the PDF file in order to print?
  
• Did you try printing any PDF file that is saved on the PC?
  
• What happens when you try to print, do you get any error message/code?

Microsoft Print to PDF mixes up JPGs.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• What happens when you select small bunch of images and try to print?
• Is the issue specific to the Microsoft Print to PDF?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Create a new folder and copy the images you want in PDF.
• Sort the images as you want. (It always copies as per the sorted time/date)
• Set the images in Order/Sequence as you want it to be set in PDF.
• Select all and Print it to PDF.

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
