Windows 10: Unable to open photos when i click on them.

When i open the photos folder , I can see the photos and they do get opened. Even from the Quick access the photos open but when i click on any photo from any folder it open photos app but the photo is not visible . The screen goes grey but there is still minimize, close and restore options on the top right corner. When I right click on the photos app in the taskbar , the recent files tab open up and when i click on any of the recent file , it opens. Only when i click on the photo it is not showing up. Also i did update windows 11 and i rolled back to windows 10 again.

Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

Hello,

It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

• On the Start menu, select Settings.
  
• Go to System, then go to Default apps.
  
• Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
  Photo viewer.
