Windows 10: Unable to open virus and threat protection

Used the sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Did not workopened registry editor->Local machine->software->policies->microsoft->windows defender and deleted it/opened gpedit.msc, Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Security > Virus and threat protection.It is mentioned not configured already.Also updated the pc several times, not working.Any help in rectifying the error, will be appreciated.

My virus & threat protection is not showing

I am writing to seek assistance with a problem related to Windows Virus and Threat Protection on my PC. Unfortunately, the feature has become invisible, and I am unable to access it.

Issue Details:

• Operating System: Windows 11
  
• Problem: Windows Security (Virus and Threat Protection) is not visible.
  

Steps Taken: I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restarted my PC.
   
2. Checked Group Policy settings.
   
3. Reset Windows Security app.
   
4. Ran SFC and DISM commands.
   

However, the issue persists. I kindly request your guidance on resolving this matter. Could you please provide instructions or further steps to restore Windows Virus and Threat Protection?

As an alternative approach, you can allow that utility through the Controlled Folder Access section of WIndows 10 security . . .

Open Windows Defender Security Center

Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down to Controlled folder access

From there, you can add Dell Data Vault to the list of safe or allowed apps to prevent it from being blocked

Please do not leave Controlled Folder Access turned off permanently
