    Unable to print to a USB printer after update, reaching out one more time


    Good day and thanks for reading. I have been receiving some very comprehensive and detailed assistance from Microsoft which I very much appreciate.

    The bottom line of the assistance is that I need to do a re installation of Windows 10. I have three PC's that exhibit this problem and they contain hundreds of engineering and other technical applications that I will lose. It will take me weeks to rebuild my software library.

    I wanted to reach out one more time to see if anyone has found a workaround for this problem:

    I am unable to quickly print to my Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer connected to my PC's via USB. This problem occurs with all applications that output to my printer. However, if I wait approximately 5 minutes after issuing the PRINT command, the printer does print.

    I have tried re-installing the latest Canon Windows 10 printer driver and run all of the diagnostics.


    Thanks so much for any additional input before I do the re-install.
