  1. Unable to reactivate Windows 10 after Mainboard replacement

Greetings! After few years decided to replace Mainboard, CPU and RAM. Old ones are still in life.Operating system Windows 10 was installed on SSD when old Motherboard was in function, and Windows was originally licensed not copy, it is Retail license. To try new components, I just mounted SSD on new Mainboard. And what happens, Windows is not activated. The thing is in next: I want to transfer license from old PC components to new PC components, but I don't know how to do it.When I mount SSD back to old components, Windows appears to be activated.I checked my Microsoft Account Devices, and PC

    :)

Unable to reactivate Windows 10 after a mainboard change

A few days ago I damaged my mainboard with a BIOS update. I bought the same model again today and naturally Windows saw this as a hardware change and prompted me to reactivate Windows 10. This worked fine the last time in Summer 2018 when I upgraded my PCs
components, but not this time. It didn't let me reactivate it. In panic I then went to my Microsoft account and deleted the PC (the one with the old mainboard) from my list of devices, hoping it would fix it. But that just made it worse, since now I cannot
even go very far with the activation, since I just deleted the device that I need to reactivate it.

I also have an error code, if that helps: 0x803FA067

  3. Can't reactivate Windows 10 Pro after replacing motherboard

    Hi,

I've just replaced a faulty motherboard in my PC and tried to reactivate Windows 10 Pro via the Windows Activation troubleshooter. The license linked to my account is an upgrade from a retail version of a previous version (so i should be able to reactivate
it). After selecting the correct device to activate I am presented with the following error message:

    Unable to activate Windows

We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later.

    Learn more

You can also activate this device by going to the Store and purchasing a genuine copy of Windows.

    Go to Store

The "Learn more" page referred to does not help as I have just followed the steps listed on that page to get to where I am now.

  4. Unable to reactivate Windows 10 after Mainboard replacement

Reactivating Windows 10 after replacing faulty motherboard

Spilt liquid on my motherboard so had to replace it. Ive now installed the replacement, but windows is no longer activated.

Ive run through the activation troubleshooter and followed the link for "I recently changed hardware on this device"

I selected my PC from the list of my Windows 10 devices, checked "This is the device that Im using at the moment" and clicked the Activate button, but get -

    "Unable to activate Windows

We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later. "

I've now been trying for 24 hours but always get the same message
