    Unable to read Windows 7 product key sticker


    Hello,i have HP Pavilion DV6 notebook with preinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, recently my hard disk failed to start.I also realized that my sticker with product key is teared and i have only first 10 signs my product key. Could You help me recreate my product key from my notebook serial number or based on first 10 signs ? Try to get help from HP support but they send me to You.best regards,sebastian

    Product key sticker is damaged

    Hi

    My product key sticker is damaged and not able to read product key. Bar code numbers are readable and can provide it. This product is for Windows 7 would like to use to upgrade windows 10.

    Can you please suggest?

    Product key on sticker faded

    The sticker containing the windows product key on back of my laptop has faded. I am unable to read product key. Only numeric ID (which I believe is the product ID) is readable on bottom of that sticker. Can that ID be used to recover my product ID?

    The key that you obtained using Magic jelly bean is the Product Key for the Windows Vista OS currently installed in your netbook. And since you said too that COA(certificate of Authenticity) sticker at the bottom of your netbook was "rubbed-off" then probably what you are reading on that sticker is the PID(product id) which is entirely different from the Product Key.
