    Unable to recognize ethernet cable


    My computer just suddenly stopped recognizing my ethernet cable. It does not have a wifi card so it is completely offline. I have tried swapping cables, updating drivers, uninstalling old updates, resetting network settings, scanning for viruses and everything else I could find to do online. Everything seems to be working fine but still no connection. Under device manager my network drivers are all "working" but under "other devices" the following drivers are not workingUnable to recognize ethernet cable :pCI Device-PCI Device-SM Bus Controller-Unknown DeviceCould this be the issue? If so, how do I resolve it without already
