Windows 10: Unable to record music on the mic, only picks up voice. Windows 11

I've had this mic and Focusrite for a year now, just recently got the Inspiron 16 plus, which works amazingly but when I plug in the microphone it only picks up my voice. I'm trying to record my guitar but it's almost like it mutes it. I took my old computer which was running on windows 10 and plugged it up and it worked just fine. I've checked every setting possible and it's all correct...help.

Hi, hope someone can help urgently! All of a sudden when I record music I play, the mic no longer picks up my music; however it picks up my voice well. I tested with playing a song and trying to record, it picks up only the voice again and not the music, except stronger beats. This is the same whether I use the computer mic or my Blue Yeti. I reformatted Windows (Windows 10), no difference at all. Any insights?

 

Mic will pick up my voice but not music

A couple of days ago my mic stopped picking up music that I have playing my room, but it will pick up my voice and other sounds with no trouble. Is there some kind of noise reduction thing going on? I have searched through all my sound settings and can't
find anything

I'm using a Lenovo Thinkpad T480 running Windows 10 1909, my mic is a Realtek Audio.

Input (mic) Stereo Mix (realtek) not picking up sound through Mic

When I have my sound input set to Stereo Mix (realtek) i can pickup and record or broadcast anything playing internally like youtube or my music files however the external mic wont pick up any sound externally like my voice. Then if I set my input to Microphone Array (realtek) I get the exact opposite result, doesn't pick up internal sound but picks up my external sounds (voice). Any specific settings come to mind to resolve this?
