  1. Unable to recover from a kernel exception

    Hello,

I keep getting this messege. Nvidia support sugested reinstalling my driver but this solution only worked for a couple of days...

Prior the messege the screen turns black and is happening with all my programs, especially when I scroll the mouse.

I am also getting this message.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 - unable to recover from a kernel exception

For the past couple of weeks I have been receiving a crash on and off, mostly while browsing, my screen will go black and then come back on a short time later with the error "Nvidia Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered"

From a bit of searching and past experiences, I have found that this is apparently a long lasting problem that few people have been able to fix, most people seem to say it is an Nvidia driver issue, because of this I didn't think much of it.

However today while playing multiple games, I have received another crash I haven't received before:

Unable to recover from a kernel exception [IMG]

My screen goes black for a bit, before coming back on and then displaying the crash shown, followed by an error to say that the game I was playing at the time has stopped working.

Today Is the first time I have seen this crash, but the crash has occurred at least 4 times today.

As mentioned I wasn't too worried about the first crash I was receiving but after receiving this new crash today (unable to recover from a kernel exception) I am a bit more worried that maybe my GPU is starting to fail.

I am currently running the latest Nvidia drivers for my GPU and running Windows 10 64-bit, any help on what may be causing these crashes or any tests I could do to help get to the bottom of what may be causing these crashes would be greatly appreciated.

Im not the best at GPU troubleshooting so even with a program I don't know what to look for other than temperature.

    thanks in advance,

  4. Unable to recover from a kernel exception

Unable to connect to internet on browsers except for Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 computer.

    Hi Nad,

Thank you for replying with the error messages received on trying to connect to internet on different browsers.

Please reply, did you try performing System restore as suggested in the above post?

If haven’t tried performing System restore, flush your PC’s
DNS cache by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved. Performing the below steps will clear DNS cache from the computer and renew the IP configuration set on the computer.

    • Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and select
      Command prompt (Admin)
      from the context menu.
    • Type the following command and press Enter after each entries:
      • ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns
      • ipconfig /release
      • ipconfig /renew
    • Close the windows and check if the changes are effective.

If the above steps does not resolve the issue, perform
System restore by following steps mentioned in the above post and check if it helps.

Write to us with the status of unable to connect to internet on other browser except for Edge on the computer
for further assistance. Your reply is most important for us to ensure we assist you accordingly.

    Thank you.
