Windows 10: Unable to recover personal files

    Unable to recover personal files


    I’ve been unable to reach the login screen before my computer blue screens, and I’ve tried pretty much everything, so I’m just going to reinstall Windows. However, since I can’t reach my desktop, I cannot launch the installation media from my install and keep my personal files via the upgrade option. I have an older version of Windows installed on another drive in my computer and I attempted to save my files this way, but they appear to be missing, or maybe under some sort of encryption due to the files being under another user. Is there anyway I can recover these files?

    Recover files from Flash drive

    Does not work on a windows pc which is what the OP probably intended

    windows by default does not have HFS and HFS+ based hard drives.
    Able to perform retrieval on both HFS and HFS+ based hard drives. and so will not work with windows
