Windows 10: Unable to reinstall DropBox

I was having some DropBox syncing issues so I uninstalled it. Now when I try to reinstall it, nothing happens; the install package will not launch. It's not running in Task Manager. I've tried re-downloading it with same results. I've been in touch with their "tech support", if you can really call them that. No luck with any of their suggestions as of yet.

Dropbox error after migrating user profile from Win7 to Win10

Received the following error:

"Couldn't start Dropbox

This is usually because of a permission error. Storing your home folder on a network share can also cause an error.

Get more help at dropbox...

Please contact Dropbox support..."

I have tried reinstalling Dropbox multiple times, restarted machine multiple time.

Dropbox is able to load on existing profiles previously created.

I tried checking local app data but am unable to figure out what I may do. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

 

Dropbox using Windows 10

I am getting an error message "unable to establish a secure connection" since upgrading to Windows 10 about 45 days ago. I had no problems on Windows 7. I have tried:

Unistall and reinstall latest DropBox

Checked proxy settings ... it is turned off

Added dropbox to allowed apps in Windows firewall public and private

Ran Windows trouble shooter.

Downloaded the Dropbox App from Microsoft store

Contacted Dropbox email support - very slow process

Anyone have ideas on how to resolve this?
