Unable to remove Day from Clock in Taskbar

For some reason I'm unable to remove the day from clock on taskbar. It shows the time, day Monday and then the date 10/10/2022.I've read to unlock taskbar and drag it down until it removes the day. But it won't do this, it won't drag down.I've tried formatting the date time but it ended up as shown below, it refuses to remove the middle day value. The weird thing is, if I move the taskbar to the left or right of the screen, it allows me to click and drag the taskbar until it removes the day.As soon as I drag the taskbar down to the bottom of the screen, it reverts back to the first image wit

    :)

    System Icons on taskbar

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    • Click on the search bar on the taskbar.

    • Type system icons.

    • Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

    Hope it helps.

Multi Monitor - Taskbar - Remove "Start button & Clock"

Hey.....I /just/ found something, using UltraMon 3.3.0, that will help with a step in the right direction. UltraMon 3.3.0 has the ability to hide the start menu on all secondary monitors. click here:

UltraMon Features - Taskbar Extensions / Smart Taskbar

It works. I am looking at my secondary monitor as I type this and the start menu is not showing. I am still working on finding something to remove the sys clock from the secondary taskbars. But, as mentioned, it /is/ a step in the right direction. Unable to remove Day from Clock in Taskbar :)

Is there any way to remove the date from the taskbar clock?: Hi. I wanted to know if it's possible to remove just the date from the clock in the taskbar. I know if you change icon size to small it gets rid of it but I don't want to do that. Is it possible any other way?...
