Windows 10: Unable to remove hyper-v

I am on Win10 pro x64 build 1909 and am trying to remove they hyper-v component. Everytime i do the PC reboots, I see it say 15% then "can't complete the feature, undoing changes" and it reboots again with hyperv installed. i did some searching and saw some DISM and sfc commands but neither seemed to have helped the situation and now its frustrating.

not normally a windows user so unsure which logs to check for more details. another thing i saw was to remove visual studio which i never had installed. i did install the build tools, but also tried to remove those with no success.

any thoughts on this to get this removed so i can use some other virtualization software?

Hyper-V

Hi Njha98,

You can remove Hyper-V by going to the control panel > add and remove programs > turn windows features on or off > and in the list there you should see Hyper-V

remove the checkbox and this will remove hyper-v

you may need to reboot
