    Unable to remove uninstall program from Windows 10 - Program doesn't exists


    I have a rather strange issue. I am trying to uninstall a program from my laptop. I uninstalled it once using Windows Apps and Features. After removing it I can see that, somewhere, in my laptop the program still exists. This prevents me from installing the newest version because during the installation of the newest version I have to specify a file *.msi. But the older version prevents me from doing that because somehow point to the older *.msi file which I don't know where it is!!!.In the Apps and Features when I select Uninstall a new box appears. This box is the final step of the install

    Add Remove Programs in Windows XP doesn't finish loading program list?!

    Add Remove Programs in Windows XP doesn't finish loading the program list (It never even starts displaying any programs) and I believe it may be that a uninstall program messed up completely and Windows can't figure out what programs are installed because of it. What is the problem? Please?

    Uninstalling Difficult Programs

    Try uninstalling norton when it doesn`t want to go. Services , registry entries , startup entries , "extra" programs....! AAArrrggghhhh !

    Looks to me that you POSSIBLY have registry corruption in this section of the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

    *Frown Unable to remove uninstall program from Windows 10 - Program doesn't exists :(

    * That's where the "Add/Remove Programs" lists are coming from...

    P.S.=> Taking a peek in there @ some of the entries MAY lend you a hand here (or not), but do take a squint @ that section, as you may find out what exactly is causing your inability for that list to populate for you, properly, quite possibly... Good luck! apk
